Possibly one gets what one pays for? Personally I am amazed that there is anyone willing to, honestly, give this item a good review and in all my years on ebay I have never had to write such a poor one. Yes it is simple to use, but relies on sharp single jolts to work. We tested it in all ways and were unable to get any form of accurate reading to steps whether walking or running. If you sit and give it single individual shakes by hand then, yes, it is possible. Otherwise it is not fit for the purpose it is sold for and a waste of time! We cannot find any use for the two I have purchased and although offered the money back it is not worth the effort and postage. A pity as I have no wish to write negative reports about anything or anyone.

Replaced a weight watchers counter(which was accidentally dropped) with this. Not very easy to clip on and easily knocked off a belt or waistband as no weight in it. Too easy to accidentally 'zero' it which defeats the object. Does the job but i found it impractical therefore unable to recommend .

Within days of purchase, the pedometer ceased working. (Battery appears to have failed). However, plastic clip is so lightweight that the gadget fell off my belt several times, and even though I had not knowingly touched the screen, it reset to zero! Most disappointing purchase even. clothing seemed to cause the screen to clear.

It's ok if you're not too bothered about accuracy. Didn't count steps exactly and if you stay still for any length of time tye machine turns off and loses what you've done so far. Not very handy if you're doing a step challenge at work
