My camera (a Fuji F30) had stopped working. I didn't want to spend much but I had the waterproof case for it so I really wanted the camera for the odd occasion I might want to use it under water. This was just what it wanted. It came without the charger etc which was fine because I had my own. It came quickly and worked perfectly!

A neat little camera that performs well. Mor up to date cameras will perform better at high iso, but you can pick up the F30 cheap and it will do a good job.

Trust me! It is a best one out there on it's own segment, good lense, enough mega pixels and ultra low noise with high iso values compared to any other pocket camera. Mainly I'm using Canon SLR's (5D&20D) with L -lenses, so I really know what I'm talking about. It's really sad that other brands like Canon and Nikon can't do anything like this. I would use any Canon compact with familiar logic if it would be as good as this is. Well, you have to remember also, that newer Fuji FinePix F -models are not as good as this is(!!!!!!!!!). Fuji has also started to competite with other brands with "gigapixels", so they have to put more pixels to same area which is rising picture noise. SHAME ON YOU! More megapixels really don't mean better picture quality, it's combination of every camera parameters! Did you know, that only 3 megapixels are enough for normal photograph for almost every normal people? Did you also know, that there is not compact out there, which has so good lense, that it really can draw that 12 megapixels to whole area of image sensor? Pure waste as plastic bottles... :( Think about it! Regards -k-Read full review
A good, reliable camera which is a reasonable size and sturdy, not too lightweight. I have been happy with the photos and it has an underwater housing to fit it and I have used it underwater. It takes photos quite quickly which I like. Later versions like the fx80exr seem to take a long time to adjust which is useless for fast-moving subjects like fish. I have gone back to this camera from the fx80exr, especially for underwater photography. I like the feel of the camera, not too flimsy but easily portable and solid. It has held its price well over the years which proves that other people like it too!!!
We had one stolen diving in Egypt we still have the under water case so wanted a replacement. It is brilliant to have some sell theirs on eBay and whom was very prompt with the despatch and very thorough finding a printed copy of instructions. We are very pleased with this product especially for under water photography.many thanks to those we bought it off.
