I used this as a "different" paint finish on my newly rust-free van roof, more or less as an experiment as I wanted something tough but still nice looking and able to cover up some imperfections in my DIY patches. I really like the finish of this when fully dried, not too "grainy" or "pulpy" but just nicely textured. It seems relatively hard wearing (as it should be) but it's early days yet. I used in order: a generic adhesion promoter, several layers of anti-rust primer, and a couple of layers of generic satin black paint, as undercoat. The liner I only used as the very top coat. In use it does seem to "catch" quite a lot of dirt and I suspect it will need a lot of spraying to keep it looking nice. Interestingly, as with previous reviewers I also did have some issues with nozzles clogging, in spite of following the instructions; thorough shaking, always fully depressing the nozzle, and emptying the nozzle after use. It appears that once the nozzles start clogging up, the cans start leaking from around the top, leading to potential drip disasters! At least I had several cans to share nozzles around, if I hand't this would have been a much bigger problem - providing extra replacement nozzles would be useful!Read full review

What a waste of time, i followed the instructions to the letter. Prepared the surface etc, nice warm, sunny day. Shook the can and came to spray, after a few seconds the nozzle blocked up, paint spewed from under the nozzle and dripped all over the item i was spraying, i tried cleaning the nozzle a couple of times, still had no joy. So i wiped all the drips off the work and tried again with a fresh can. This time i pressed the nozzle once and held it wide open, yes its a waste of paint but as least there were no drips, or blockages, and i finished the job. I should of used Halfords Bed Liner paint as a few other's have used it, with great results.

The cap dose not clog if used properly. Make sure you full press the nozzle when using and hold upside down for a few seconds after each coat. Really strong stuff. I've used it on the inside of my RC car shell to reinforce for it. I also used it on the role cage. It's dried solid and it's very strong with grip like finish! Abit pricey for 11quid... You could probably get it from local hardware store for few quid but that's the price you pay for convenience, getting it delivered to your door 👍 I highly recommend this product. Not disappointed at all.

Great product, covers well, dries even. I did however have issues with the can. Shook can for 2 minutes as instructions, starting spraying, lasted about 8 seconds then the nozzle blocked. Left it soaking in thinners for 3 days and did my best to clear the blockage but to no avail. Established that the particles that create the texture were blocking the nozzle so decided to get a minute drill bit and increase the nozzle aperture. Nozzle drilled out, tested to see if spraying again, sprayed for 2 seconds then the nozzle insert blasted out so the can output was now like a hosepipe. Then had to spray at high speed to get even coverage. Product is great, more than happy with the paint, just the medium used to deliver the paint is flawed.
