A rare emulsion from Ilford and it shouldn't be. It's a very forgiving film to work with, slightly gritty but well controlled grain, excellent latitude and dynamic range. Pushes ok if needed to ISO 800. Smooth feel to the gamma curve, lots of shadow detail when processed in D76 / ID-11 1+1, more contrasty in Rodinal but grain still well managed at dilutions at or above 1+50. Gives HP5+ a run for its money and IMHO this is the better film.

A very versatile fast film with good tonal range and finer grain great for low light and action photography. Easy to develop in most popular developers such as Xtol D76 ID11 and Rodinel It sits some where between HP5 and TriX in its range of tones. A Good value film from Harmann.

A fabulous film, not always obtainable in the UK. If you prefer the older style black and white rather than the T-Grain of TMAX and Delta this is a great film. Lovely crisp black and whites with depth through the zones. Totally recommend
