This is a great guitar built like the time honored Gibson Standard model. This guitar has the weight relieved body - but not chambered - so it is about a 1/2 pound lighter than a non-weight relieved Les Paul.. The guitar came with PAF style ('57 Classic) pickups that sound great as is. It has a lot of coil tapping and tone changing options including an on board pre-amp to boost the signal about +10db. I didn't need all of that, but it was there. Guitar plays great and has the American "made by Gibson" quality feel to it. It has a 50's C shaped neck, but wasn't as thick as I had thought it would be when I read the description. As it turned out, it was shaped differently than my 2016 Les Paul Standard with a 60's D shape neck but was just as comfortable and fast. The rosewood neck has medium jumbo frets that feel good and the rosewood neck is smooth and fast with a good quality feel. The Grover keystone locking tuners work well and hold the guitar in tune fairly well. All of the appointments and hardware are USA Gibson quality - so no complaints there. Overall I would say this was a great deal and I am very happy with my purchase. Thanks eBay!Read full review

Excellent guitar for the price! Classic 57 humbuckers that can be split into single coils give you a wide range of different tones. Neck is great, plus it has locking Grover tuners on the headstock. Overall, this is a great guitar. There's a reason why Gibson Les Paul's are one of the most popular guitars ever made, and if you are a true guitar enthusiast, you will definitely appreciate this guitar.

This is an awesome guitar, smooth pickups, many useable sounds with the coil splitting. I have a standard premium plus that I love, but this guitar still gets played daily. Worth every dollar!

Sweet axe with the ability to switch from humbucker to single coil mode it's like having 3 guitars in one. Playability is excellent very fast neck. If you like the Les Paul sound this guitar is for you, if you like a tele or strat sound this guitar can deliver that as well. 2011 is a good year for yhe Les Paul Traditional Pro!

I went on a v. long hunt for a Les Paul in 2011 and 2012. After a ton of research and a ton of playing various models (and many examples of each model). The Traditional Plus is where I netted out. Why? It's basically the same guitar they've been making since the 1950s. I didn't want a weird modern LP with robot tuners, coil-splitting, and whatever other functions. I just wanted a simple, great guitar. And that's exactly what this is. Having since bought a Custom Shop Reissue Les Paul, I can attest to the quality job done on these Traditional Pluses—the two guitars are VERY close IMHO. I'm selling my Trad Plus but only because I can now afford a CS Reissue. Otherwise, I'd have kept this beauty for life. Just outstanding and fun to listen to and play.
