The bodywork is spotless with no dents, dings or major scratches to report of with the alloys recently having a re - furb. The only area of note is on the rear bumper near the tow bar and step, there are a couple of small bits of bubbling the size of a 5p piece, but these little bits do not detract from the overall excellent condition of this vehicle.
I purchased this vehicle in August 2011. Prior to me buying it, it had had a lot of money spent in relation to a complete engine removal and both timing chains replaced at a cost of £1200, engine overhaul inc radiator £500, stainless steel exhaust system with catalytic converter and rear box £350, the LPG conversion at £1500, new discs & pads to front, front ball joints and professional window tint applied at £200.
From buying it I have to be honest it ran like a pig when on gas but ran lovely on petrol and it didn't have a handbrake whatsoever. So speaking to the experts after giving it a full service with new but standard Explorer HT leads and plugs, it still ran awful with it missing and spluttering under load. They then recommended fitting a high performance HT lead and recommended Magnecor Blue High performance HT Leads (£115). Once these were fitted immediately I noticed how much sweeter and stronger it pulled on LPG with no misfiring whatsoever. Now to the handbrake.......
It has as of yesterday, got through its MOT, but to enable it to get through this test there has had to be a mammoth and major overhaul of handbrake system including new rear discs, handbrake service kit and shoes £200. So you will see there has been no expense spared recently.
I have also recently replaced a troublesome wiper stalk / light switch.
She wants for nothing both inside and out for sure.
She is very economical for a two and a half ton beast when running on LPG, only paying 75p per litre and this equates to 30 - 35 mpg, regardless of whether you are towing, normal or spirited driving.
Any trial or viewing but please no time wasters or tyre kickers.
£100 deposit by paypal required at end of sale with remaining cash on collection please.
This is a reluctant sale because I know what a great vehicle you will be buying and I am only selling because I am very shortly moving abroad.

Thanks for looking!
Please note that although I thank the interested parties concerned, due to my impending move I am not interested in a part ex of any kind including your wives, children and your special Tortoise called Alan.
Due to a change in my circumstances, it now looks very likely
that by the time this Advert ends, I will be abroad in sunnier climes and my
dilemma is that I don't want to leave this for my wife to sort while I'm not
With this in mind I have reluctantly decided to not refuse any
reasonable offers made on my Explorer.
I will obviously not give it away so silly offers will be
politely refused and I know that this will disappoint some of you out there,
but due to these circumstances, there is some movement most certainly in the price
and someone will ultimately get a real bargain.
If you're still not sure - come and have a look at just how nice it is,
have a drive and make me an offer?
