    Not quite the beast but just as good.

    The cheapest anywhere and the 16mm links make it a problem for any thief. This is the chain to buy when the Beast is a bit too heavy for your wheels. I do have a Beast lock and chain but you need to feed it through very carefully on my new bike so this is one step down but is a good quality alternative and the extra length means you can wrap it around a post before using your lock, 16mm links mean it is a bit too narrow for the beast lock but I do have Oxford 16mm boss lock so that is used and the beast stays on my second bike.

    Strong but ridged

    Really strong links, however, can be difficult to manoeuvre through rear wheel spokes on my motorbike because of its rigidity. Should keep my insurance company happy though.
