Cut a guide from thin ply and place over the glass, use a plastic bottle with a hole popped in to allow water to run onto the glass for cooling. The cutters then come into their own, cutting effortlessly through the glass in seconds and show no signs of wear again and again absolutely fantastic bit of kit.

Was cutting through a 200cm length of glass sheeting (Shelving), the bits have trouble gripping when starting to drill, they turn to red hot and don't cut, I was cutting with water and the smallest bit, my whole sheet turned to shattered glass, job in ruins, I would not recommend these to anyone cutting glass as of my experience. I wish I had of took photo evidence, Might be good for other materials? The shipping was in the time given so I left positive feedback for that.

Bargain of the year. Done an excellent job of cutting two 1" holes in an enamel cast iron bath. The only down side was that some of the larger sizes did were not drilled for a central pilot rod but an easy job if you have access to a lathe.

Used for a ‘one-off’ DIY job to cut a 50mm hole for a sink trap And a 30mm hole for a mono tap through a 10mm porcelain floor tile. Worked perfectly provided You start with a ‘smile’ cut first then once made tip onto the vertical while someone else is squirting water on it throughout the cutting. Handy advice seen on a YouTube film clip.
