It’s light in weight, and extremely portable. Very easy to understand the instructions. Heats up quickly. Charger is also small and easy to carry around. Definitely would recommend to friends, this is my second one and will most probably buy another one for myself.

First of all, this thermometer is an accurate good thermometer that provides accurate results within five degrees (boiling water was around 96). Although when it came to using this with sugar when you need to keep the thermometer in the pan i came across serval problems. Firstly, the top of the thermometerr is much heavier than the metal rod, this was a problem as it makes it extremely difficult to get it to stay in the pan (a few times it acctually fell out and nearly burnt up in the flame). Secondly, it's really not very heat resistant, after approximately 30seconds of being in the pan i noticed it started to meltv i immediately turned the heat off but it was too late the whole thing had morphed out of shape. So if you plan to use this for quick tests on meat or quick less demanding jobs. I can recommend it. BUT if you expect this to withstand heat then NORead full review

This thermometer was purchased because of the price but having recieved it I would whole heartedly recommend it. I have used more expensive products and this does exactly what is needed and provides adequate instructions for anyone who has not used one before. Item itself is easy to use however they don't seem to last long battery wise and can be delicate as well especially if the wires inside become loose. Ideal if you only use them now and again but as product to use everyday perhaps not so good. Despite this I would recommend them as not expensive item.
