I know I am gonna regret this but...
This is a rare BC Rich NJ Series, model RJAG-2 made by Daion in 1983 (thx for the info),six-stringed sort of Howard Roberts model, steel stringed guitar which I nowadays rarely play so it needs a new home.
I have used it on several recordings during the last 25 years and it has always been a pleasure to play it.
As You all know, guitars made by Daion are great instruments with beautiful, rich tone!
I purchased this in 1987 and it´s also the only one I have ever met in real life.
It was then slightly used.
It has a 2 volume and tone controls, easyplayed, nice wide neck, first class BC Rich machine heads, super inlays in the neck...
a nothing spared, Rolls-Royce model.
It is 43 mm wide by the nut and 54 mm by the 12th fret.
The neck is straight and adjustable from the the headstock and it has a nice rounded back.
It has a wonderful rounded attachment between the neck and the body, rounded front and back body and double bindings.
Apart from the usual small dingelidongs, it has a nick on the back of the neck between the fourth and the fifth fret and
some marks on the headstock. You can see them all in the photos and these have all been made by me during the years.
However it had 2 cracks in the finish inside the Florentin Cutaway when I bought it and both of them looks like they did in 1987,
nothing has changed. I guess it has something to do with the coating and it´s only in the surface. See the pics for Yourself.
The colour is, I guess, a deep, dark Candy Apple Red with a matching headstock.
The pickups are a humbucker, probably BC Rich or Gotoh from that time and same sort of 9V piezo pickup in the bridge.
The mix is just wonderful! You can play everything on this!
It will be deeply missed...and I guess You won´t find that many in the future...
The hardcase is in good condition and will survive WW3.
I will ship it by The Royal Swedish Postal Service with a tracking number.
Yes, I accept bank transfer.
Europe 60GBP, anywhere else 100GBP.
If the shipping is cheaper I will refund the costs.
