For sale is a 2010 Gary Fisher Superfly. It's a medium and a 17.5" it suited me perfectly and I'm at 5ft 9".
The bike was raced in 2010 and so has the usual scrapes and scratches. At the end of September 2010 the bike had a new cassette, chain, bottom bracket and middle ring. The bike was then used a handful of times and has been in storage even since. So it needs a spring clean. It definitely needs a service to the forks, a new outer ring and probably new cables, it also needs new grips. The tyres are ok but you would probably need some new ones for anything other than bone dry conditions. The front disk brake needs new bolts to attach the caliper to the forks. The front wheel is in very good condition. A slight buckle to the rear wheel that almost certainly can be taken out. The bontrager label on the carbon seat pin has some heavy marks but that was due to the saddle pack. The velcro rubbed against the seatpin.
The frame has been used but is in very good condition. It was copter taped up and the chainstays were protected. The arms of the carbon cranks were also protected so are in very condition.
The spec is:
9 spd Sram XO shifters and rear mech and chain
Sram pc970 9 speed cassette
Truvativ noir 9 speed cranks very lightly used Middleburn middle chain ring
Fox RLC 29er forks
Bontrager RXL wheels black rims/hubs/white spokes wheels already set up for tubeless with Bontrager rim tape and valves
Bontrager RXl seatpin, Bontrager RL stem and wide sweep handle bars both alloy.
Avid CR disk brakes need new pads
Bontrager XDX tyres worn
Due to the bike needing some tender loving care the auction will start at £1.
I'm based in South Wales and if anyone would like to see the bike before bidding then they are more than welcome. I'm equally happy to post. I'm selling the bike to help raise funds for Phil Morris' little boy Ryley who is hopefully off to the USA in August for an operation. The bike is an ex Xcracer.com team bike. So look on the website for further details. If you would like to speak further about the bike then please drop me a message.
I'm not sure how much it would be post so you may have to bear with me on that one. It shouldn't be more than £25 to send by courier but I'll confirm the cost of postage at a later date. Or of course the buyer could collect.
No international buyers I'm afraid.
