The USB dongle came next day. Setting up the driver on my laptop was easy, just insert CD that comes with it and follow the menus. after this just plug in the USB and select your network, its that easy and simple. A very good quick connection that doesn't drop out. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for this type of connection.

The device appears to lack the structural integrity to enable it to be withdrawn from a USB port after being plugged in. On my first removal of the dongle from one port to another, it took considerable pressure to overcome the tightness of the dongle-port connection in order to remove it, however this was successful, if leaving my finger tips a bit numb. On the second attempted relocation the next day, due to the dongle vanishing from Device Manager and seemingly unresponsive to Windows upon the next boot-up, the entire external section of the dongle came off, leaving the connector and exposed PCB still in the USB port. Furthermore, my right index finger was cut. It appears to be that snugly fitted to the port that it would rather break and come apart than be removed; and this was on a new device not even 48 hours old! I ended up having to resort to using pliers to remove the remaining PCB and USB connector from the socket. The dongle is obviously dead, the USB port is undamaged thankfully. Very short lifespan, expected better. Would recommend looking for a different model, preferably one that can be removed/withstand being removed.Read full review

works well with windows 10 plug and play linux will not recognise it though ...how can you download a driver if you can not get online.. seems most of these types of adapters are grief to work with linux if you want to use it with linux you would have to use a cable connection first to get the sudu apt commands but if windows 10 is all you need this for then its great value

After reading the reviews, I was unsure about getting one of these. But I needed 4 WiFi adapters so thought 'in for a penny'. They are a tight fit when plugged in, but a nice tight fit. You don't want them falling out and to be honest, most people would leave them plugged in anyway. I plugged them straight into a Windows 10 PC that I had just set up and it went online straight away. Seems quick too.
