    Good regulator

Buy it for Honda VFR 800 1998. After replacement I have stable 14.2V on idle(1200 rpm) with dipped headlights(high beam 13.9V). It's good result for 2 55/60W halogen lamps. On 5000 rpm this show 14.2V with high beam and heat grips. Light no change brightness on idle and 5000 rpm. Radiator wasn't so hot. It worked great, I'm glad.

  • This one is the real deal and works as it should. Avoid the imitators!

The charging system on my 2008 KLR650 has always been at the lower limit of acceptable charging, especially in the winter when the heated grips and high beam are on more often. This regulator makes the most of the stock stator and now the battery voltage is where it should be. It bolted right into the stock location. This is a real Shindengen FH020AA, not one of the many fakes out there. It cost more than the knock-offs but some of those are actually SCR shunt regulators (I've dissected them).

  • So far so good.

Installed it on a 2007 Aprilia Tuono 1000R after a 300 miles ride, it's doing it's job so far, my only concern is that the wires coming from the stator to the reg/rec gets really hot to the touch, I don't know if that's normal?

  • One of the best upgrades I've installed so far

Installed on a 1986 VN750 to replace the factory regulator/rectifier. Electrical system is now running at 14.3V at idle. LED headlight low beam no longer flickers and engine idles better as well (NO changes were made to fuel/air/spark system after this product was installed.

  • Better than OEM

I missed the recall on my Triumph Street Triple regulator rectifier. All the forums recommended this as a better than OEM replacement. The kit included the gasket. Perfect fit works better and was cheaper than the Triumph replacement part. Highly recommended.
