Excellent quality wooden parts went together well with my nine year old grandson. Only design problem is that the operating string is in the direction of firing making it very difficult to aim. I modified mine so that the string came out of the rear end. The pva glue supplied was too thin. An enjoyable couple of hours building it and great fun to operate.

I bought this for my 6-1/2 year old grandson to make when he came to stay. The quality of the parts is very good and the instructions are easy to follow. By explaining each step to him, grandson was able to assemble most of it by himself. By using dowel pegs, it is easy for small fingers to put it together. The supplied glue will make the job a lot stronger/durable, but not absolutely necessary for construction. Once assembled he has had great fun with it and I would thoroughly recommend this kit to entertain a youngster on a wet day!
