Does just what it says it would. My husband had several pairs of shoes where the soles had either split or had come away from the shoe. They looked irrepairable and ready to throw away until my brother suggested using Shoe Goo, and it worked! I highly recommend this product.

Not quite as wear resistant as i had hoped it would be . However this product will cover holes in your soles quite efficiently and prevent leaking and you can layer it up. Not used it as a glue as such so can't comment on that application.

This item was bought as a replacement as have used this before on a pair of Snowboard boots. It extended the life of the boots by 6 week long holidays. this time I have used it to fully reapply a sole on a pair of my wife's suede boots, a pair of training shoes that the edges and toe covers had lifted on & a pair of casual shoes again where the edges had lifted. all have successfully bonded again. My recommendations for use are 1. Warm the tube in hot water before use 2. Warm the shoes - place on a radiator or in the sun 3. apply thinly to both surfaces 4. press the surfaces together or clamp 5.place items in a warm environment to dry for 24 hours at least

I have used Neopaws Shoe Goo to secure slightly detaching soles on two pair of good quality rubber-soled leather-upper shoes. The quantity needed was very small so it was a cheap repair. I have also used it to re-attach the very thin oversoles back on to an old but comfortable pair of trainers. Fix seems very secure, but a lot of product was needed so maybe not a wise investment of money and effort. Time will tell. But the adhesion in every repair I have tried is very impressive. Next jobs to tackle are a detached shoulder strap on my soft walled briefcase and a detaching flexible cover on my tablet (before it finally separates)

I took a very comfortable pair of shoes to the menders and he told me that they couldn't be repaired as the sole had worn right through. I had seen Shoe Goo sometime before and thought I would give it a go. Absolutely fantastic, it sticks like crazy and flows very slowly until it sets - enough time to get an even spread. The sole is built up now, all I need to do is smooth it off and apply a stick on sole. Job's a goodun!
