The materials are good and don't feel too much cheaper than more expensive options. The foam padding and elastic band are great features and make the experience really comfortable. A couple of small problems: - The included instructions are rubbish, but the assembly is exactly like other headsets, so it's easy to find tutorials on youtube. - Many cardboard viewers come with headset codes that contain information about the lens and the construction, but this pair is missing them. It's slightly annoying, but not a dealbreaker IMO.

The box itself is easy to set up however it is very flimsy and the slots can bend very easily. The lens are cheap and with no obvious zoom facility it doesn't give you the right viewing vr experience. The instructions aren't the most helpful but it's fairly straight forward. For the price you shouldn't really complain but it's not worth buying and don't be fooled that it says Google inn the title

It turns out that my phone (in common with many midrange smartphones) doesn't have gyro sensors, so I can't use the Google Cardboard app. I can watch 3d "side by side" videos on YouTube, and they are quite fun. You probably wouldn't want to wear it for a long time.

It has the magnets as a 'button' this is no longer supported by most apps. The instructions are totally useless. You get what you pay for. This is cheap. Get a proper one.
