Another great manual from Haynes. Ive had one for every car I've owned and found them to be invaluable for a home mechanic. If youve never read a haynes manual it can take a moment to get to grips with the lay out, but its all relativley straight forward and the content that these manuals cover is excellent. Each task gives a difficulty rating and if your honest about your own ability level, you cant really go wrong.

I've had Hayes manuals for several of my previous cars. It's just vital to be able to understand how the car's components are designed to work, and how they are put together. Saves a lot of money in that it allows the reader with reasonable mechanical competence and a set of tools to do minor repairs, which may take a bit of time but is satisfying. The step-by-step guides also allow you to understand what you're up for, if you decide to tackle the job. Also to know the degree of difficulty and time it takes to even reach a certain component, so no surprises if you take the car to a garage instead and they bill you for an amount of labour involved.
