good little unit easy to fit, but as it is only a small wattage unit the hot water supply is ok on low pressure, but if you were looing for something that would produce piping hot water for the house hold then you would need something larger

Wanted hot water for a wash basin for washing hands and kitchen sink for washing up cups and dishes in our garden summer house. I used plastic 15mm pipe throughout to reduce heat loss. Both sinks have Grohe taps. The unit sits directly under the kitchen sink and the run to the basin is about 3 meters. I went for the 4.5Kw model rather than the 3.7Kw, but the water only ever comes out lukewarm. The water pressure is quite low. The instructions recommend a spray head but all the ones I can find are aeration heads which is what Grohe use anyway. Well made and easy to fit. Does reduce the flow to about half the mains pressure. Wouldn’t Recommend.

It appears to be of reasonable quality, and it works after a fashion, by the time the washing up bowl is full the water has gone cold again. To achieve a hot enough water temperature the flow rate has to be turned down to such an extent that it is a mere trickle. Totally unsatisfactory.

to connect this in the UK will require one 15mm male iron one one female both can be had in straight or elbow not an issue for a competent plumber, fitted into one toilet block and is ideal, hot water fast.

This heater is compact, it will fit into a small space. Dont expect really hot water in the winter you wont get it, use plastic pipe from the heater to the tap, or flexi pipes, this wont rob the heat like copper. in the summer be careful of the hot water. In the winter the water is not warm enough for a comfortable wash, you will need to add some hot.
