A huge choice of what it can do, but the instruction manual is useless. It's a matter of prodding icons and see what happens, but quite frustrating. Very detailed navigation information shown, including speed limit and camera reminders. It's quite a large and clear screen and the bracket to hold it onto the air intake grills works better than sticking it on a window. Speaker volume is too low when driving on a noisy road surface, but the picture is easy to follow at road junctions and it gives warnings well in advance. Mine arrived with the screen surround lifting off (a minor cosmetic problem) but the seller gave me a partial refund to compensate rather than just sending it back. For the price, it's excellent value. Cannot comment on longevity or updates yet.

I wanted a 7" screen satnav for my minibus. This one is easy to read from the driver's seat. However, it comes with a crude plastic clip-on hood which is really not suitable for this model - looks as if it has been borrowed from something else. One of the sunhood's four clips is positioned right over the on/off button, a major design flaw! The hood also scratches the screen because it is not located positively. The satnav is OK but I have been unable to find out how to input postcodes. It seems to insist on roads or road junctions first. Maybe this is to stop "artics" driving along back streets. For me, this is a major put-off. All previous satnavs I have used gave a choice of roads or postcodes as a search. Apart from that it works. It is a budget device, so one gets what one pays for. I nearly rated it 2-stars, but will try an online update soon from the manufacturer to see if the postcode functionality has been sorted.Read full review

Would I buy again? No. Cheap gadget but even putting my truck height in, it still tried to take me under a low bridge. You can't just put a postcode in once; you have to do it twice. It's a faff. It's a product trying to do too much. Yesterday it inexplicably took me a long way around, when going back the way I had just gone would have been far quicker. It goes to sleep and is sometimes difficult to bring back on line. Generally does the job, but I'll save for a proper one.

I travel hundreds of miles on a weekly basis...A sat nav is a must for my work...I used to buy high end priced/branded sat navs....I switched to this one about 2 years ago....Best thing I ever did...This is a newer model of the version I bought.. This new one has had the annoying things put right....I can't believe what you get for your money....It's simple to use. Tougher shell than previous model....All the extras on it work good too....It even picks up portable speed cameras, which I came across yesterday...The thing is a joy to use and makes my travelling effortless....Gets my thumbs up again.....Love it.

It could however be improved, it's a tiny bit laggy. GPS takes a while to recognise.
