seemed very good when first opened but the bullet nib quickly began to deteriorate when in use, leaving inky fibres on my work. The ink flow in some is really difficult to get going, in others a push down on the nib causes a pool of ink to run out onto my work. The only way they can be used is to have a trial run on waste paper before starting anything important. I bought these thinking that Papermania was a good brand, but these are very disappointing.

Glitter pens are usually gel based and very fine so can be frustrating for 4/5 year olds to colour with. These are like normal felt tips with sparkles and my daughter loved colouring with these! The only draw back is sometimes the colour in the pen does not flow freely and you have to press down wait for the colour to come through to the tip to colour! You have to preserve and tell your little one to be patient!!
