This is the first of the two autobiographies Imran Khan has written (the second one has been published just recently in Sept 2011). He wrote this book after he had taken back his retirement post World Cup 1987, and went on to the famous West Indies tour. It has fantastic first hand accounts of his struggle as a most peculiar Pakistani cricketer who had spent more time in England playing cricket than in domestic circuit. It covers his rise to unparalleled fame and greatness, covers his Oxford life, describes his personal ambitions and how he pursued his dreams, details the problems encircling Pakistani cricket and gives great advice about the structural weaknesses. The book has some rare photographs of Imran's career and fellow players. He also writes about his favorite cricketers and the ones who he thinks have the potential of making it big (at that time). All in all, a must read for all Pakistan cricket fans and anyone who knows Imran as one of the greatest cricketers of all-time and arguably the greatest all-rounder ever.Read full review
