This book is a welcome update to the first edition and an extremely helpful reference book for anyone involved in legal process of family courts . it is a surprisingly easy read with an appropriate amount of dry humour. well referenced and very helpful links in the foot notes to relevant legal cases( and also how to access these - always a bit of a mystery for non lawyers! ) . possibly a little repetitive but this does help reinforce the important messages . It would have been helpful perhaps to have had more on the differences between professional witnesses and expert witnesses and in fact how many professional witnesses are increasingly being asked to step into role of instant expert. It came out before the 2011 review of family courts and the recommendations about experts , which is a shame as likely to be changes in way experts are used in the future . overall very helpful and highly recommended.Read full review
