A good book for those who have had some formal teaching and wish to supplement or add to practice. It has clear explanation of techniques and types of therapy . Some scripts are inspiring and practical and aid or augment taught methods. This book does not go into the why and how the therapist must be with clients and with themselves. A section on supervision and the dangers to therapists in all sense's is not to be found here. In no way will this book allow you to be prepared for practice in the real world and it does not pretend to be.
