Excellent price, great power output and the connectors are almost perfect. Plenty of Molex connectors and two SATA Power connectors as well as a 4 way and 6 way connector for the board and GPU. It has an FDD power connector curiously but I'm certain that this will be useful for some out there. One more SATA Power connector would make it perfect and 5 star. Having said that you can get a MOLEX to SATA for about £1.25 Update now run happily for 5 months, all is well. I run an i-7 with 16Gb and a GTX1050 Ti 4Gb card with 1 x SSD and 1 x HDD plus a DVD drive from this so a typical system should run perfectly well.

bought this with the initial thought that, it’s cheap and probably has potential. Definitely wasn’t a brand I’ve heard of in the pass so I thought, there’s a first for everything. Actually used it in a new build I just got finished making. Wasn’t too sure at first about the psu because it didn’t have the right cables I needed and I was going to return it. Then after a while of thinking decided to cancel the return (biggest mistake ever because I actually can’t file in another return which sucks) because I found a alternative way of using cable splitters for my graphics card my card required a (8pin and a 6 pin so I purchased a 6 pin to dual 6 + 2 connector). So far no issue, setup windows everything all is ok...ish... it was actually slightly warm which was odd to me since it wasn’t like I put the pc through major tasks yet or even TOUCHED GAMING so I’ve setup everything, you know, the usual download the drivers made sure everything was up to date. Load up a game from steam and after 10 minutes something is smelling funny. Like hot metal (can’t really describe the scent but it was like something electrical was hot). Touch my pc and too much shock it’s extremely hot and got even hotter the more I felt down towards the psu? I thought strange.. maybe it will stop. Nope, pc shuts off randomly. Tried turning it back on after it didn’t work. Flicked the on and off switch on the psu. No change, motherboard lights are still on. So I take out the psu and BOY did it smell horrible. Couldn’t even handle 10 minutes of gaming. immediately took out the gpu ( after switching things of). Checked t was ok it had no scent so the culprit was the psu ( which was extremely hot and smelt horrible) Only time will tell now when I do buy a new PSU if my other components are damage. Which sucks honestly. I should of just stuck to my gut feeling and not bought it but here I’m writing a well deserved negative review. Let me just clarify this is actually my first negative review which is pretty embarrassing. I would possibly like a refund and maybe to return the product if I need to by all means I’m willing to. Such a shame. The thing is it’s definitely not classed as meant for ‘gaming’ hence probably the cheap price. Maybe if you’re playing light games or browsing or watching videos you might not experience what I’ve experienced but honestly. Terrible. Only good thing I can say it was ‘silent’. Silent but deadly. The build I was working on initially for a video idea I had in mind was I5 760 2.80ghz HD 7870 ghost edition 8gb ddr3 Intel dq57tm motherboard Corsair case Alpine 12 cooler I’m pretty sure the specs listed don’t require that much power anyways so I don’t see how there could of been a problem accept maybe I needed a better PSU. Sometimes it’s just worth the extra hassle to just get a better PSU.Read full review

Ignoring for a minute all the technical aspects of the product for the moment, it might be cheap, and it might work for most people in most cases. I only want ot comment on it's durability. It served me perfectly well for 13 months, but has now died. I was gutted after my last power supply for my machine dies 13 months ago, what with all the frustration that goes along with not knowing why my computer wasn't turing on, now I have just had to go through the whole drama again. The original PSU lasted over ten years, this PSU barely made it past 1 year. However cheap it might be, however much it might seem like it works perfectly fine, it is still not really worth it and is not at all good value for money, if they can't build them to last more than 13 months. I don't want to be so cynical as to say that as per the planned obsolesence of many products designs, they do it deliberatly so that you have to buy a new one sooner rather than later, but I am very dissapointed and angry with myself that I made the mistake of buying this.Read full review

A good solid budget performing pc power supply great for older Pc's that don't warrant a more expensive option, Handle's most older graphic cards power requirement without a problems very suitable for motherboards requiring less 600w ,This is the second one i have bought, the first just over a year ago and still running great very stable, One note is does not have a 8 pin power connector that latest motherboards require.

Need a some decent PC power you can rely on? Look no further as this PSU is packed with all the power and connections most PCs will need. My PC doubles up for gaming (kids of today eh?!) which means SATA,, IDE, USB and PCI-E are all active and drawing their fair share of juice! It's also relatively quiet and cooler than the one it replaces.
