Big Ones was the first Aerosmith album I bought and I haven't looked back since! I was first introduced to their music by hearing 'Dude (looks like a lady)' and bought this album on the strength of that one song, and I am very glad I did. I played this album non-stop for about a month when I first purchased it, and I have rarely lasted more than a couple of weeks since then without playing it, that's how much I love this CD. This is a compilation of many of their best songs including 'Cryin', 'Love In An Elevator', 'The Other Side', 'Walk On Water', 'What It Takes' and 'Livin On The Edge'. I have since become a bit of an Aerosmith anorak, and have more of their CDs than any other artist in my collection. However, this is the one CD that I could never part with and is my favourite of all time. If you want an introduction to Aerosmith, this is the perfect album to pick. If you already know their work and haven't bought this already; are you crazy?!! A truly outstanding album which I cannot imagine ever being surpassed. Won it, Collected it the same afternoon as I was passing by, very nice bloke Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography. I would recommend the director's cut that includes scenes about the relationship between the lead character and his estranged wife and helps you to understand the motivation behind his decision. The run time is 183 minutes for the directors cut and 120 minutes for the cinema version. I was, however, disappointed by the lack of extras, which any fan of this classic would expect to be included. There's only a 20-minute interview with the director and other shot "making-of" vignettes.Read full review

If you like Aerosmith but not enough to have all their albums in your collection then this is the album to own. Like the fact that it covers most hits - the ones you always sing along to. Find it a good CD to have on in the car. Can thoroughly recommend to anyone.
definately one of the best cd's that i have purchased. it has some great songs that you just have to turn up to full volume. As i bought it as a birthday presant for my mother, i thought it would be full of boring old songs, but that was definately not the case. I would recomend this cd to anyone.
