This is a wonderful mounted lithographic print taken from the original 1983 artwork of Allen Jones, entitled "Pasa Doble".
Allen Jones, master painter; designer; sculptor and printmaker is rightly regarded as one of the leading artists of the Pop art movement. In the early 1960s, whilst a student at the Royal College of Art, Allen Jones together with a group of friends that included David Hockney, RB Kitaj, Derek Boshier and Peter Phillips, gave rise to the British Pop Art movement. They revolutionised British art culture with their precocious talent and unconventional and irreverent works. They embraced new subject-matter and new materials. From the start, Jones showed his preference was for glamour and style. His work revolved around beautiful women visualised erotically and stereotypically, whilst exploring the then underground world of the fetish scene. He courted controversy with his life-size sculptures depicting women in fetish apparel whilst serving as furniture. Having sustained a long and successful career as an artist, Allen Jones has remained central to the British art culture. His work may be seen in many public places, even including the most fashionable
This mounted print is approx 12"x10" (30.5 x 25.4cm - the image size being approx 22x16cm) and is ready to fit into a standard sized frame of your choice. It is in pristine condition with no rips tears or creases. It is further protected by a thick rear mounting board.
Please do not confuse this print with a cheap home produced/scanned copy, as can be found in many ebay listings, this is a lithographic print which was produced commercially by Friedrich Pustet GmbH, Regensburg, Germany, in 1995.
This wonderful print will look stunning framed and displayed in any room of your home.
It will make a great addition to any collection of Allen Jones or Pop Art.

Customer satisfaction is very important to me and I always endeavour to maintain a high standard of service. However, in the unlikely event that you do experience a problem, please contact me first before leaving a neutral/negative feedback and I will endeavour to sort out any issue in a professional and friendly manner.
I am happy to answer any questions through an Ebay message.
And finally a note for the anoraks: I am not an art/antiques expert or dealer and therefore the term Lithographic print in my listing refers to any and all forms of Lithographic printing (including offset, photo-mechanical, collotype, cliché-verre, chine colle, etc., etc).
Unless otherwise stated in the listing, the print will not be a limited edition and will not be hand produced or signed by the artist. Equally important, I can guarantee that it will not be a cheap copy, duplicate or a (made at home on a printer) “giclee” print, as found in many Ebay listings.
It will be a commercially produced lithographic print, as detailed, that will grace any room it is displayed in. Please be sure you are happy with the item before you place a bid.
