    Excellent, High Quality, Precision tool with a very tight tolerance between the ground spindle and the bushing. Repeatability of 0.0001" when touching tools on center of the indicator face (using 2001 HAAS VF4). I verified this by repeating the offset test on multiple different tools over a couple days in a temperature controlled shop of 68 Deg. The supplied indicator is plenty accurate, as the needle can clearly be seen moving crisply between each 0.0001" increment. Manufactured in USA!!

    This is a well designed little height setter. The base is ground steel as is the top and not soft. I replaced the indicator with a 0.50 per rev Mitutoyo I had laying around to gain even more resolution and the gage still repeats to a 10th. I dont think its specd to that level but the one I have does it. its got a spot in the tool box now.

    Great tool setter , Made here in the USA

    Well i use probing on most of my mills I have a Haas DM2 that I needed to fill the table with fixturing and could not fit probing on it ,, I had a electric setter and it eat battery's and I tryed of the cheap China ones and the diel was so small I could not see it well ,, so I sent it back and got the APM yellow face one and have used it for the last two years and found it works GREAT,,, do to the big base it does not try and fall over and do to the build quality I can use any part of the big pad on top and easily set a tool down to .001 or .002 every time ,,, and best of all APM builds there products were in the USA ,

    Excellent tool for CNC

    Bought this to use on an old Haas CNC mill. This was perfect. Worked better than expected. Fit and finish better than you can imagine. Every tool-to-tool offset was .0005 or better when QC’ing parts. Never worried once about one tool’s cut depth vs another. Only had to worry about my workoffset, which was stayed consistent within .001 and that’s easy enough to dial in. The large pad makes it easy to put large tools on and the readout was perfect. I’ve used the digital kind before and was never convinced I was always at zero but with this one there’s no doubting it. Watching the needle rotate to the correct line is easier than watching a digital readout countdown to 0. It was quicker touching off tools because of this and because of the large face. Gives me peace of mind knowing my tools ...

    Amazing product!

    I used a edge tool setter before. This product is 100 percent nicer. The plunger has more pressure which seems to keep the measurements more accurate and consistent. I couldn’t be happier.

    Very pleased, first class product

    I have used competitors tool setter gauges, this is by far the best, very well made and the fits and finishes are first class, hopefully I never break it , but if I do I will order a replacement the same day , very pleased
