The Motorola 3360 24 Mbps DSL modem is designed to provide an affordable and reliable Internet connection with a wide variety of advanced security, management and troubleshooting features. Add a router to this modem and create a home wireless network. Enhance your internet and multimedia experience with real time games, music streaming and sharing photos or videos, from your computer or any device, with a full home network. This DSL Modem provides the perfect combination of great performance, low cost ownership and ease of maintenance for your Internet connection. You will enjoy download speeds of up to 24 Mbps. The router is compatible with 802.3 and 802.11 b/g/n wireless data link protocols. The Motorola DSL modem model 3360 offers various interfaces to provide a complete solution for broadband connectivity. This model features state of the art tech, including an ADSL2+ WAN interface and IPv4 and Ipv6 compatibility. This model supports advanced features that include PPPoE, Ipv6/6RD, DHCP server, DNS proxy, Dynamic DNS support and Multiple Subnet support routing protocols. Other advanced features include ATM/PTM auto detection and the capability to auto detect the network type. This simplifies logistics and ensures that the network functions properly, on both types of network transport. The QoS capabilities include Network Address Port Translation (NAPT), Application Level Gateway (ALG) support, IP Maps, Diffserv QoS with weighted fair queuing, IGMPv2, IGMPv3 with fast leave and IEEE 802.1P/QVLANs. This model is equipped with ADSL2 and ADSL 2+ WAN with an RJ-11 connection and LAN, though a single, 100/100 Base-T Ethernet port. You have the option of a horizontal desktop or a vertical wall mount, to provide the flexibility needed to suit your available space. A DSL modem enhances security for your network with a built-in firewall for intrusion prevention, service attack protection and packet inspection. Security is further enhanced with Denial of Service (DoS) protection, IP pass through, and VPN pass through for PPTP, L2TP and IPSec. Device management is further enhanced with Statistics and Log reporting and password protected access. The modem includes utilities for Ping, Traceroute, Reverse DNS, NTP and Diagnostics. The network security suite also enables you to set up virus protection, spam guard and parental controls. The parental controls offers options that allow you to ensure a safe and secure connection to the Internet and protect your children from inappropriate content. The Motorola 3360 modem supports multiple users to suit the needs of your entire family. This model is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems. This DSL Modem comes with a self-install kit that simplifies setup of the modem. Managing your router and modem is easy with remote and local device management options. You can access the functions and protocols of the modem through local or remote portals. The WebUI manager enables you to access the settings and features, to make changes and save the changes right in your browser.

Used modems can be installed
This modem can be reset to factory default. As long as the yellow tag with access code is on bottom. Type the modem's http address (on bottom of modem) in your browser's address bar as soon as page opens click on advanced on left side. Choose reset and type access code and once finished it is factory reset. You don't have to buy new from ATT I have set up and installed many used 3360s.
