The reasons for not being durable speak for themselves. It's a plastic model!! It is very well made and the detailing is pretty good. And I build and paint a lot of models. The only thing I chsnged personally was I got yellow leds for mine and put 2 resistors in . The ones with the model I felt were very bright and not as realistic as the yellow leds.. more natural for the period in time. But I'm very happy to say I'd get another any time. 10 /10 .😃😄

Great model to build. A lot of very small pieces, requiring a good pair of tweezers. Very useful having the parts pre painted. Enjoyed making it, would have liked if it had taken longer to build. Would I recommend - Yes

A cracking little kit from Academy. It's a simple assembly with precoloured plastic parts and no soldering required for the LED lights. You could make this out of the box, for a basic model that closely resembles the Titanic, or you can go all out on aftermarket parts and make a fantastic replica of the majestic ship.
