The radical Klein Fat Tube Adroit was a huge step up from all the other steel bikes. The Adroit series was one of Gary Klein’s most revolutionary Bicycle design. They are magnificent bikes and now serve to showcase how skilled Gary Klein was at making well tuned, perfectly balanced bikes that are stronger, lighter with remarkable responsive. Gary Klein perfected the art of making aluminum frames and is responsible for making aluminum so popular for high-end bikes today.
She has one of the most cool paint jobs on a bike you will ever see- Look at the pictures of the gorgeous original bike
This Mint Adroit is such cool Bike It has TEST MILES ONLY and appears to look NEW.
Please note I had a difficult time photographing this Adroit as the shiny reflection was playing havoc with my digital camera, so I shot some pictures indoors and some outdoors , what may appear to be scratches are reflections .
Looking over the bike & the components it will be clear to you that the light nimble, 20.6 pounds Adroit was made to perform, with a Full Shimano XT Drive train, Ultra rare Strata Fork , Klein MC2 bar Stem. The oversize fork steer tube was specially made to fit with this Klein's extra-stiff air head tube design,
Full Klein internal cable routing
Notice how the brake and shift cables go thru the frame and not on the outside, a classic Klein hallmark that not only looks better but performs better too. And notice how the rear frame the tubing goes from square to round, Gary Klein first developed the concept in 1973 as part of his aluminum bicycle project at MIT. Massachusetts Institute of Technology
“She Float’s like a butterfly and stings like a bee”
only 20 pounds
I have taken The mighty Adroit out for a quick ride around the local (paved) roads here in the Malibu Mountain and down at the beach bike path ,she tracks straight, shifts like a fine watch, pulls up hills like a frighten mountain goat
The klein Adroit series are the best bikes Gary Klein ever made.
SO LIGHT & NIMBLE
This Bike corners like she on rails, has incredible sports car type precision steering
You will love riding your Shimmering Burgundy/Blue Adroit and your biking friends will be envious. She is ready to hit the trail. Or hang in your den (she has been on display hanging in my office) You and your friends will be pleasantly surprised when you take your first ride and you leave them eating your dust
If you want the best, coolest unique Klein’s hard tail bike that you won’t meet on the trail or street – and has over the top performance this is it , do not lose it to another bidder , mint time capsule Adroit do not show up anymore.
Bike shows as new, the Death Grips tires have some age cracking I did not want to change them as they are the original tires and work fine for simple bike runs, for serious off road riding they should be replaced.
Everything is as original delivered except for the new blue jelly pedals
What’s the scoop with Kleins
Sure, they're the most beautiful bikes in the world to look at, with many models featuring their own special "debossed" graphics, smooth welds, specially-manipulated tubing called "gradient" that makes these the most perfect machines ever built in terms of delivering power to the real wheel and precise control to the front...
Want to see more of why nothing else compares to a Klein? Check out the "Adroit" label on the bike above, and the closeup . That's not a decal...it's called "de-bossed paint." They actually mask off the top coats so a different color is exposed, creating a beautiful appearance found on no other bike (at least none that I know of). Trust me, these photos don't do it justice, but you get the idea.
Did you know that Klein frames were welded using a special patented process at super low freezing temperature apparently this imparts something magical to the ride.
Even the least-expensive Kleins feature tubing and technology found nowhere else, including "gradient" tubing which begins its life as Aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, inspected every single foot for imperfections (bicycle industry standard is every 6 feet), and specially formed, tapered and manipulated into something very special...your new bike frame! Check it out...look at the chainstays of any Klein and the differences will be obvious. Look at the headtube/downtube junction, and the manner in which they've created a special shape for the downtube to ensure a better joint
The differences are everywhere...you can see them, and better yet, you can feel them when you ride. And now, you can buy a superior Klein aluminum bike for pretty much ½ the cost as the inferior wannabes

Here are 2 questions we get often
How can you tell if a bike has LOW Miles or use?
Easy way is to look at the. Crank arms, brake, shift levers, and see if the original name are still there , grips ,saddle are good to check too , but the often get changed out by a owners personal preference.
When someone tell you this bike has had only 2 -3 short rides in its lifetime, it better not have any Chain Suck, major scuffs on the crank arms and brand name should still be clearly on the shifters/brake levers.
We go out of our way to acquire mint bicycles and pay top dollar for them.
If they are not mint, they usually end up as parts bikes, or donated to local charities.
What is the green stuff on the grips,& saddle ?
After new grips are installed we often wrap them in a protective stretch wrap so they don’t get dirty from road testing or while performing service, so as to make sure they arrive at your door looking new.

Mountain Bike Sizing
Use the sizing chart below to find the right sized mountain bike for you. Knowing your height and inseam measurements, you should be able to determine what size frame will be most comfortable for you. Of the two measurements, height and inseam, inseam is most important.
Mountain bikes are generally measured in frame size (inches), which is the distance from the center of the crank to the top of the frame at the seat tube.

All of our vintage bicycles are professionally cleaned, Tuned, & tested before getting professionally packed. We inspect each bike before listing for any defects.
All bicycles will require some degree of reassembly and tuning when they arrive. Most bicycle shops charge $25 to $75 for this type of service. If you are not experienced with bicycle repair and maintenance we strongly suggest taking your bike to a professional for reassembly and fitting. A good bike shop assembly will help prevent any damage or problems with your bike that can result from improper reassembly. (If you do not know of a good local shop, do a YELP search in your area)
You are most welcome to ask questions. Please email me Text or call if you have any questions or require more pictures.
