A stunningly photographed aerial journey along the UK's Pennine Way from Edale in Derbyshire to Kirk Yetholm. Although the filming and the scenery are immaculate, perhaps the choice of Chamber Music is a little heavy for such a film as this. At times the music choice is way off the scenery and the droning music takes away some of the compelling beauty of the Pennine hills and valleys. Having walked this route in 1978 this DVD is certainly a nice keepsake for such a wonderful walk.
I bought the DVD on the Pennine Way in order to look ahead at the route I will follow when I start the next stage of the walk. I was disapointed to find that the DVD missed sections out and spent as much time looking at the surrounding views as it did looking at the path to follow. I have to say though, it was good value at £0.99.
