I bought these to replace old ones I was extremely satisfied when I opened package really solid heavy duty poles I haven't had chance to Field test them yet. Thay are for the porch extension on my fishing shelter and bonus with them being adjustable height caps and guy ropes that came with them are spares .looking forward to using them very soon

These are good rugged poles. The mechanism to extend them is plastic so time will tell how durable they are. They are fairly heavy so not suitable for hikers and back packers. Over all excellent value sturdy poles which are in their own carry bag with guide ropes and tent pegs.
