I bought this mouse because I suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome and mouse-clicking seems to exacerbate the problem. I hoped this would put my hand in a more natural position, but although it's nice to rest on the side of my hand, my fingers seem too short to press the buttons correctly. My hands are average size for a woman, but this mouse seem designed for people with very long fingers. If you are a pianist, this mouse should suit you well,

I've had sore forearms for a year or two now, but like a lot of people can't simply stop using my computer. The shark fin style mouse looks very cool, but more importantly is very comfortable to use. As a female with fairly small hands (gloves are always too big for me) it has taken a bit of getting used to and ideally the mouse would be a bit smaller, but that said the pain is starting to subside well enough for me to do my work without the constant nagging pain. In fact I think I'll order another for my laptop to save swapping over. I've also found it useful to prop up my forearm so that my wrist isn't elevated.
