i bought this i pod because of the amount of music i could store with my previous one (8g)you must delete before adding new down loads , its a solid ,good looking item and sounds great with ear phones or docking station easy clear screen simple to use
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
Good ipod, sound quality is good and visual display is also nice, but breaks really easily over simple stuff like unplugging without safely removing it, and the only way to repair iPods is either via iTunes, or an apple store, as there is no other means or repairing it elsewhere, and unless it's still under warranty, the repair cost can be as much as the cost of a brand new one.
Recommended to me as my previous, inexpensive 4gb Rockchip Player had seen better days. The sound quality was acceptable - not outstanding. The actual usage was fine when it came to playing media. For me the "Bogey" is the fact that you are tied into the whole Apple system i.e. you cannot easily transfer Music Files of your own compilation. It seems to prefer commercial ones and I failed to sync. it with my Windows Media Player, on Vista 32bit, despite having installed MGTEK dopisp. On other players all one has to do is open "Music" and drag files across - couldn't be simpler. In conclusion, I reckon this player is fine once you do not expect versatility and are happy with being tied to a particular set-up.
The 30 Gb IPOD is great - loads of memory, easy to replace battery when it gets tired (so far on my third battery for second IPOD in family). Easy to use, rugged (I do a LOT of travelling and this just keeps on going). Battery life is good (lasts a return flight to the US no problems. Well supported by ITUNES and of course if anything goes wrong, theres a soft and hard reset .... and away you go again!
