I was looking for a Walkman for a bit of retro fun and stumbled upon some iPods for sale. This triggered long forgotten memories from the 2000s of owning various iPods, buying music!and downloading CDs. So I took the plunge on a 3rd generation. I have to say, just as I remembered, good sound quality, better than my iPhone, the feel and size is just right. 1000s of songs and no interruptions from buzzing, dings & bongs as per iPhone music listening, I’m in control of the listening experience, not my phone. That said, it not all roses, battery life drops quickly if you have the back light on, if you can find it in the dark! HDD drive needs a reasonable amount of care and if you want to keep the back of the iPod looking nice and scratch free, then good luck with that. Oh, and a working one in good condition with a good battery can be difficult to find and expensive. Grab one for the retro experience, but remember the technology is 18 years old! Read full review

I like it's retro appeal, compared to the iPods of today. The fact that it's backlight is optionally on or off means the battery life can be increased dramatically, though it can be quite tiresome having to remember where the "backlight on" button is in the pitch black. Also, with the backlight constantly on, the battery life is, to put it mildly, pitiful. That may be due to it being used, but I have no prior experience so I can't say this for sure. The touch-only buttons are a great feature, but in the wintery seasons, when gloves are a necessity, I can imagine the touch buttons to because absolutely loathsome. It's reasonable weight means it's hard for it to fall out of pockets but it isn't so heavy that it becomes a burden to carry. Mine seems to have problems with only charging at thirds at a time, but this may just be mine, or a general batch fault. Either way, it can be irritating if you just like to leave your iPod to charge. An aesphetic bonus though, is the iPod's orange backlight buttons on the play, fast forward, rewind and Menu buttons. It really gives the retro appeal it's cherry on top! All in all, I'd give the iPod Classic 3rd Generation a 4/5. At the end of the day, though it has some faults, its retro appeal and general beauty outweighs the problems. -J. HayesRead full review
vond het een goede koop omdat de verkoper het snel afhandelen en precies afgelevert heeft wat belooft was en heeft een goede music smaak :)
The first time I tried to charge the Ipod it stopped working and the the screen went blank. A shame as the the services was going well up until that point.
it is alright, just something thats cheap and easy for on the go, and its reliable and from a good company background.
