Shower MixerCartridge
The shower mixer cartridge was a replacement for an identical one. Just had to turn off the hot and cold water, remove old outer casing and then pull off the cartridge after removing the 4 retaining screws. The seal on the cartridge looked good but I added silicon grease for a better seal. The cartridge is well made at a reasonable price and would recommend this product.

Solved leak
Original part which was great .This was easy enough to change and it solved the shower leaking while it was turned off problem . We now have a leaking hose when the shower is on , so think we must have a washer missing , so will investigate.
