These work very well as a replacement in the dash-top VW Up / Skoda Citigo / Seat Mii Navigon and Garmin navs that were factory fit in the early models, before they changed to a holder for your own phone. This battery, along with a map update, has made the unit much more responsive. If your nav is taking a long time to start up and is slow to respond to commands, the battery is probably on the way out. This one (bought mid-2022) works, as long as you get a good one.... The first one I bought (at the beginning of the year - both from the same seller) was rubbish. One of the wires was broken where it connects to the battery itself. Even after resoldering, it wouldn't hold charge for long. It was from the last one or two from a batch. I think I got the dregs. The second one is way, way better.Read full review

I can confirm it also fits the Garmin Nuvi 2595LMT. To open it you will need a Torx T5 tool. After removing the 4 screws you will need to use your finger/thumb nails or a spudger to prise the back panel away from the front. Take care along the bottom edge as the two halves are joined together by a connector which I recommend leaving attached, so treat the bottom edge as a hinge. As you open it the microphone will disconnect from the front. The old battery was very well stuck to the back panel. Use something plastic like a ruler to lever the old battery off, do not use anything metal. The connector lifts off and the new one presses on. You can either attach the battery to the back panel with double sided stick tape, or sellotape a sticky pad on top of the battery. If you don't it might move or rattle later. As you put it together reinsert the microphone in the front. Power the unit on to check it works. If so clip the unit back together and do the 4 screws up. Tape the connector up on the old battery and recycle it responsibly.Read full review

It was too big so I had to cut the case away to get it to fit! Battery life is OK but not as good as original when new.
