Bang & Olufsen televisions, much like their audio systems, tend to be very high quality (and extremely heavy!). The MX7000 is no exception - the sound from its integrated active speakers is superb, with excellent clarity and nice, even reproduction throughout the audible range. Connectivity with other B&O and non-B&O equipment is good, with 2 scart sockets, active speaker outputs, and a connector for the active stand as well as s-video and an auxiliary audio input. The TV works well with any late-model B&O remote, including Beolink 1000, Beo4, Beolink 5000 etc. The VisionClear system dramatically reduces reflection effects, giving a good sharp picture in situations most TVs couldn't deliver in. Initial setup can be a little complicated, but there are good resources on the internet to help - Beoworld.org, for instance, is extremely useful.Read full review
These were one of the most elegant and beautifully designed TVs - with the motorised stand it would gently turn to face you when you turned it on - superb. The picture quality on them is still amazing and the sound is incredible - I used to use mine to play the CD through and you couldn't make it distort even on full volume. Showing their age now with being CRT but surprisingly not that bulky for its screen size. No HD or 3D but still a great TV for a bedroom/kitchen. A design classic - minimal and understated but beautiful.
stunning picture and active speakers deliver superb sound quality.... a beautiful design and a modern classic that will fit in any home and complement most decorative schemes. Highly recommended....only now available sceondhand or reconditioned but a good example should last a 'lifetime' and be a good servant.
