The final battle.
This programme is not one I had seen on the 'box', it outlined the lead up to the final action quite well, the graphics were clear, showing where the planning had focused. As usual the commanders were profiled, they were often unknown to the west, so it was good to see some new faces, weapons used by both sides are shown and explained. The outline of tactics used by the Russians and the number of troops involved, it's small wonder why the Japanese where totaly overwhelmed! The programme highlighted a couple of points, one being revenge for a defeat inflicted by the Japanese Navy at the beginning of the century and to hold on to land that the Russians considered theirs.
