The built in brush and covering cap makes this easy to use and re-use. Accidentally broke a branch on my Fig tree leaving a scar about 6in (150mm) long. This did the job and was easy to work into the deeper parts of the damage. Then reused it when protecting pruning cuts on an elderberry tree. Seems to dry slightly soft/flexible so hope it will withstand lots of downpours!

I bought this to seal some wounds on the pear tree which I pruned. This is great, its in a bottle and as a brush applicator on the lid. You apply it so easy . It comes out runny seals the area and sets quick in dry weather , took 2 days as I had a big area to seal cut huge branch. within a few hrs of applying it was tacky, very fry the next day. I applied 2 coats. I like it as well because it looks environmentally friendly it is green. Looks so much better than the Arbrex I knew of old which was black. This is very easy to apply.

One thing you can say about this product. It works just as it is supposed to do. No more and no less. It's nice and runny and it sets firmly, I've used it for years to seal tree damage, grafting and pruning. Never liked the applicator business end, preferring to smear with a finger.

Application is easy and sealant is readily absorbed into the cut branches or trunk Coverage is excellent but would recommend 2nd coat after a month or so Would recommend this product

But on face of it looks easier to apply than last container I bought, many years ago. It used to come in a grotty little tin, that would not preserve integrity of product between applications. Usually found sometime later at back of shed, hard and unloved.
