This is a worthwhile investment, particularly in these post Covid, post Brexit days when you cannot seem to get the right replacement for a bit of electrical kit that breaks down and even when you find a replacement it takes days to get delivered. I live in an area that gets frequent power dips, especially in the Winter. If the power goes out, when it comes back it comes back in force. I have three of these marvellous devices, one on my laptop, a very elderly Belkin surge protector on my router - which I suppose I should think about replacing and one one my SmartTV. The new ones come with 2 USB charging ports, which is very handy. The other nice thing is they come with a free Connected Equipment Warranty. This warranty covers damage to any devices being used with the Belkin power product. They are simple to use, just plug in, power up and go. after receiving the product which is packed well and looks great i first of all charged my phone,(i do not know if the surge is working as we have had no spikes) which took rather a long time against the phones correct charger but no matter it charged,but after a week or so i was using my tablet and the battery was low so i plugged in to the SurgeCube but after a while the tablet flashed up a comment i have never seen before which stated the charging was insuffient to keep the tablet working so i had to change to my normal charge plug.

Belkin is always solid. Its one of those products you get what you pay for, no frills and not cheap. The combination of charger and surge protectiom is a great idea. I want to use it when I stay away so my appliances are safe. Has yet to be tested in a hotel.

Really good product and really affordable! Belkin has a two year warranty on this product and if a device gets damaged through the surge protection they will with repair it or replace it.
