I bought the book to find out what Aron really went through. I saw the movie first but I still wanted to know how he really felt, how he coped the - psychological way. And the book answered almost all my questions. The movie does not show the real extend of Aron's hiking and climbing (skiing, biking...) skills. I thing it was a really good idea to include also his real pictures. The pictures he took before, after and while trapped. The only draw-back to me, was the description of experience that got through prior the entrapment. Some of them were not related to the main story, and from time to time I got bored. Apart from that, I highly recommend the book to anyone who enjoys hiking, who likes mountains, simply to anyone who is a little 'outdoorsy'.
Having watched the film 127 hours i had to get the book, but in hindsight i should of read the book first.
