I was unsure wether to purchase this mirror as some reviews said it was not suitable for there bike i have a Boardman Hybrid pro 2017 model and it fits great, works well and is well made you need to move your leg out slightly when having a check when pedal at the top but its no problem really the only reason it got 4 stars is when you get out of the saddle for hill climb you may just knock mirror with your knee at first but you soon compensate for this i would recommend this mirror, if you have a big frame tube to fit it onto that could be a problem

This is worth a try, and different people will almost certainly get different results. Advantages - it doesn't stick out beyond the bike as a handlebar mirror would, and not being obvious doesn't attract the random thief-of-small-objects brigade. And being attached with cable ties makes it surprisingly secure. I find it better to attach the mirror so it hangs down from the bracket rather than sticks up. I wonder if a slightly diminishing mirror would be an advantage. Only 3 cable ties are supplied, so when you find you haven't attached the bracket where you want it and have to cut through the ties to remove it, you're left with only one tie. Answer - get a bundle of cable ties from Tool Station. They're very cheap and actually work better than the 3 supplied.

I still look over my shoulder before moving out or turning right, but the mirror allows me to keep an eye out for friends I cycle with. Once it is set, it is relatively easy to see behind.

The bike mirrow design is excellent and very important. Vehicles tend to be confussed at first because your riding style is not what they expect. But they respect you when they notice that you see them without turning head. The design is nice one thing I must add ...it could of been a little wider. All my bikes have this beauty on them and it makes the bike look nice as well. Safety, I give it 5 stars.

Its very easy to catch your knee on it when up on the pedals. you have to move your knee over to be able to see it when riding. a handlebar mirror is better.
