If you are familiar with any of the earlier work of the highly underrated Bill Nelson, then don't be expecting the epic guitar solos from a Be Bop Deluxe album or the power pop punk anthems of Red Noise! In a way, Bill was (and still is) is as eclectic and innovative as Bowie was in respect of never being stuck in the same genre for too long. This album is no exception. Written mostly in 1978 & 79, it preceded the early 80s electro pop bands like OMD & Depeche Mode. So much ahead of it's time, Bill's record company refused to release it, and it was a full 2 years before Bill finally released on his own independent label in 1981.

This album is hard to get hold of on CD, so I was delighted to get hold of it for a reasonable price. It’s great and represents very good value for money
