Still trying to get this WIFI Tablet to actually see the WIFI. Without that you cannot get anything to work at all. Standing right in front of the router and still nothing. I have 35 dollar tablets that connect but not this. A big waste of money. Will never buy another product of Blackberry again. Instructions are confusing. Save your money!

A surprisingly excellent tablet. With just a touch less resolution than an iPad2 or Touchpad (1024x600 instead of 768) even with its smaller size the images and video are crisp and vibrant. The fast processor and QNX based operating system make it snappy and the Playbook 2.0 OS is as easy to use as WebOS including using many of the same gestures to multitask applications. Works great when paired with a Blackberry phone with the Blackberry Bridge software where you can read and respond to messages using the Playbook instead of phone and letting the Playbook use the phones cell plan instead of needing one of its own when you are out of wifi range. A graet product that is easy to underestimate due to its smaller size than the Apple tablet. Where it falls a little is software support, but with the new Playbook you can load many Android applications. In fact I loaded the Android Kindle app, though it isn't easy enough for casual users to accomplish so it cant really be considered a proper replacement for getting the apps ported to the Playbook OS. Hopefully when the new BBX phones come out using an Operating System similar to the Playbook, we will see more support for this excellent tablet. I basically use this and my Touchpad more than my iPad2. They simply have better thought out operating systems making them a lot more pleasant to use.Read full review
The BlackBerry PlayBook is the latest – and most unique – Apple iPad 2 challenger. Running a new OS called QNX, with quirky features like bridging to a BlackBerry phone for secure email and an oddly confusing initial setup, the PlayBook is a stark departure from the more iPad-like Motorola Xoom. Business-minded features such as built-in viewers for spreadsheets and word processing files are welcome, and it gets extra credit for being fast and nimble on a dual-core 1GHz processor. Throw in a 3MP front-facing camera, a 5MP rear-facing one, a bright and crisp 1200x600 resolution screen, a light 425g body and all the typical gyro, accelerometer and GPS sensors and you have the makings for a powerful 7-inch tablet. The PlayBook is sorely lacking third-party apps, but does show promise. The powerful multi-tasking, where you can run a video in one window and play a game in another with both apps running concurrently, is a first of its kind for a mainstream tab. File storage capabilities, support for an HDMI connection for playing 1080p video and a slick interface make the PlayBook an interesting anomaly. I bought this tablet mostly for reading books I have in PDF format, watching movies and surfing the web. For the most part I can do 2 out of the 3 things I wanted this tables for because the ebook reader app in my opinion is not that great. I can still read on it its just not as pleasant as it could be, I hope that once we get the BB OS 2.0 update that will change because at the moment there is a huge lack of good apps. The Hardware on this tables is great, it makes multitasking a breeze, I like the fact that it is smaller than an Ipad so I can carry it everywhere, the display is bright and crisp, the playbook is sturdy yet not too heavy.
