I have had this kind of printer for years and it has worked well for my family. The print quality in black and color is very good. It copies with a touch of one button, scans and produces great quality prints. The only drawback is the amount of ink it uses. I purchase HP ink for cheap on the internet that solves that problem. We don't print a lot, mostly a few pages a week for college classes, etc. But, it has been a very reliable printer that meets our needs. I would have given it a full 5 stars if the ink lasted longer.

This was a reconditioned machine and only wanted it for the type of cartridge it uses. Used mainly to test refilled cartridges. Over all it is not a bad printer. The newer printers are faster and have more features but not sure if they are built as well as these older printers.
I got this model hp in 2005 (ish) and have refill capabilities for ink cartridges. the early one finally acquired some problems I got lucky to find this barely used one.

This a great All-In-One machine, the HP Photosmat C3150. It is fast, and the print quality is great, even photo's. The only thing that I would improve on it is, the size of ink cartridge, make them at least half again as big.
It is an excellent printer, letters as well as photographs. The type of ink cartridges makes it easy to refill therefore saving on the cost of printing. I would purchase another HP all in one printer if this one goes out.
