A well written and very interesting book which is surprisingly detailed about the early to mid years on life in Hollywood. Very entertaining and amusing. It is an easy read and David Niven surely led a very happy and interesting life. He comes across as a chap who we would all care to have as a friend and associate. I can certainly say that I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and will look for his other autobiography, The Moons a Balloon.

Great book with lots os stories to tell about a bygone Hollywood era. You can just hear DN's dulcet tones dictating the text. Very difficult to beat memoir by a British gentleman actor.
