Very good size and able to higher the volume when speaking to some one but was not a very loud ringer on it which was disappointing as this is what was needed, was high pitched ringer instead of a loud one.

I bought this phone due to my large fingers, which are somewhat akin to butcher's sausages. This phone has revolutionised communication for me, as it enables me to dial numbers very easily, without having to rely upon Abu, my trained marmoset monkey. (Don't worry, he's not redundant, I still need him for driving). Every aspect of this phone speaks "Elegant Design", on a level far surpassing that of Apple products. The sleek elegant white curves of the moulded plastic evoke a clean harmony that allows this phone to blend in to the most obtuse of surroundings. The decals on the phone are rich and evocative, conjuring up images of a totalitarian dystopian future. This is definitely a phone that means business. The red lights add a frisson of danger to the phone, which makes it exciting to use, and more than livens up the day every time it rings. The handset itself is ergonomically designed to sit comfortably in the hand, or sellotaped to the head if that if that is how you prefer to use a phone, and I have yet to experience any signs of repetitive strain injury when lifting the phone from its cradle. Finally, the reassuring decal at the top of the phone, that decries "BT Big Button Phone" is both reassuring and life-affirming, in the sense that if I forget what type of phone I am using, BT are always there to remind me. Put simply, this phone is an epiphany of communication, and if they could only make it wireless, so I could get rid of my iPhone and carry this around instead, my world would be complete.Read full review
I have encountered this model of telephone on many occasions and have used it myself and therefore am familiar with its quality and reliability. I purchased 2 of these 'phones now that they are obtainable at less than one-third of their 'new' retail price. I kept one 'phone for myself and gave the other away as a gift where it has been used for recording telephone conversations in conjunction with a PC equipped with audio recording facilities. I did not purchase the Big Button 100 for its oversized buttons which I regard as a useful feature for those with poor sight. The 2-button, speed-dialling feature is also useful for those with poor memories or suffer physical dexterity problems. The hands-free and loudspeaking features are a boon to those taking notes or have a need to use equipment whilst taking a call. I found both 'phones easy to connect to the telephone network and both worked straight out of their retail packaging.Read full review
My Nan is 94yrs and lives on her own, she has arthritis in her fingers and found an ordinary phone a problem to use. Calling family and friends is very important to an elderly person and this phone with big buttons and on top of that all the memory features she is able to keep in touch with everyone close to her.
A great phone. Very easy to use. Not clumsy in the least. The incoming voice amplification operates by touching the +/-toggle bar below the keys and works extremely well. The message indicator light and 1571 redial key are also very handy. A bright, clean, easy to operate product.
