      great product for large or small items.

      This product was recommended to me by a work friend, who stated its advantages over some other types of finish. It is easy to apply, and to reach a pleasing finish (two coats) with a nice gloss shine, another plus is that the variations in colour available, worth a look, absolutely. Squidy

      Works but very smelly

      It's cheap and it works fine once it has fully dried. The problem is that the wax has been softened by mixing it with a powerful industrial solvent that smells like paint thinners. When applying it to a piece of furniture I quickly got a headache, and I had to open all the windows and doors and leave the room for half an hour until the smell had reduced to a tolerable level. I've used other kinds of wax polish in the past and none of them smelled like this. Also, the lid has popped open by itself several times.

      Briwax - bring out the grain!

      This is an excellent product to use on natural wood .It is easy to apply and brings out the wood grain, giving depth and a warm natural colour. I applied to oak which had been fine sanded, It took two Briwax applications on untreated timber, the first a generous application working into the wood and then a second lighter application..Briwax gives a natural satin finish after buffing.

      A Reliable 'Friend.'

      I bought this because my last tin had been used up. Have been using Briwax for many years and I think it's excellent. I usually finish my hardwood items by oiling (eg., Danish oil) and two applications of Briwax. Easy to apply, lovely, silky finish and it lasts well.

      Best wax !

      This wax is excellent and gives a great finish , I use it for oak furniture,I have tried other makes but this is the best.I would advise keeping the lid on while using because it will soon dry out if you leave the lid off for too long
