For the price the performance is better than expected. Bush has a reputation for cheapness, in price and sometimes in quality. The buttons are very small and the functions are difficult to read. The external power supply socket could be more clearly specified in the manual: what voltage, what current and what diameter plug? Sound amplified through an external device is quite acceptable.

Product didn't work, I couldn't even get the CD door to open. Will be returning the product but am annoyed that I have to pay postage. I purchased the same model from Argos after the disappointment of this one and it worked perfectly. The brand new product from Argos was only £2.50 more than I paid for the refurbished .one. .

Compact; light weight; easily portable: my only concern is that i cannot get the volume loud enough & i cannot tell if that is due to my deafness or a limitation of the player. I will get bigger earphones to wear over my hearing aids

It is simple to use and excellent value. Only design fault is that you can't see the symbols on the buttons - but it's easy to remember which is which.

This is my third player as have worn out the previous ones ! Always stick with it as very reliable. A good price as much dearer in Argos ! Has an excellent sound and is totally jog proof too. Do throw away the low quality earphones and buy some decent ones with good 'bass' and you will be pleasantly surprised at the big difference in the quality of sound and volume. I use it daily tucked in my handbag walking to and from work. Would recommend this little player to anyone who is a bit old school like me and still enjoys playing CD's ! Worth every penny of the £10 it cost and no delivery charge ! Happy days !
